SIERise privacy policy

Your study data stays with you.

About this policy

This policy covers SIE Exam Prep: SIERise, published by Campflame (“we,” “us”), and explains how the app handles information.

Information stored on your device

The app stores your answers, study sessions, progress, flags, review schedules, optional exam date, appearance preferences and use of the free mini mock locally on your device. These records support practice, saved sessions, review reminders within the app and progress displays. We do not operate a server for these records and cannot view or retrieve them.

Purchases and restoration

Apple processes payments and purchase restoration using your Apple Account. The app reads verified purchase entitlements to unlock paid features. We do not receive your payment-card details. Purchase operations may require an internet connection and are subject to Apple’s privacy practices.

RevenueCat purchase services

We use RevenueCat to record and validate purchases and understand purchase activity. RevenueCat receives purchase history and transaction information, an automatically generated anonymous app identifier, and information needed to operate its service, such as device type, app and operating-system versions, locale, currency and last-seen service activity. We do not send it your answers, study progress, exam date, name, email address or payment-card details. We do not enable advertising attribution, automatic device-identifier collection or optional SDK diagnostics.

RevenueCat processes this information for purchase functionality and purchase analytics. RevenueCat processes purchase information on our behalf under its data-processing terms. This policy describes our use of that information. We do not connect the anonymous app identifier to an account or a personal identity. The app may contact RevenueCat when it starts, even if you have not made a purchase.

Retention and deletion

Your study records remain on your device until you remove them. In the app, choose Settings → Reset study progress to remove study sessions, answers, flags and review schedules. This retains your purchase, preferences and used free-mini-mock allowance. You can remove the optional exam date separately.

Deleting the app removes its local app data. This does not delete purchase records held by Apple or RevenueCat. Those records may be retained to provide lifetime access, process restoration, prevent fraud and meet applicable obligations. You may contact us about purchase-data deletion; because we do not identify anonymous users, we may need purchase-related information to locate the record. Your purchase remains associated with the Apple Account that made it. Depending on your device settings, app data may be included in a device backup and restored from that backup; manage backups through your device or Apple Account settings.

Sharing, advertising and tracking

We do not sell your data, share your study records, use advertising identifiers or track you across other apps and websites. Purchase information is processed by RevenueCat as described above; we do not add general study-activity analytics.

External links and this website

If you open an official FINRA resource or another external link, your browser connects to that website under its own privacy practices. The app does not include your study records in those links.

This policy and the support page are part of campflame.dev, hosted by Sevalla. Visiting it sends ordinary web-request information, such as your IP address and browser details, to the hosting service to deliver and secure the page. We have not added analytics, advertising, forms or tracking scripts to this site. The Campflame privacy page describes the website as a whole.

When you contact support

If you email us, we receive the email address, message and attachments you choose to send. We use that information to respond and resolve your request, retaining it only as needed for support and applicable recordkeeping obligations. You can request deletion by contacting us. Please avoid sending passwords, payment details or unnecessary personal information.

Children

SIERise is an exam-study tool, not a service directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us so we can address it.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page and its effective date when our privacy practices change. Any material change to how the app handles data will be reflected in the app and its App Store privacy information as appropriate.
